Blind person cheated. In May 2011, we signed a contract with Mr. Foundation. They started work approx. 2 weeks later. Estimator Todd Saunders, after receiving $25,500, asked us for another $25,500 after working only 24 hours and I said why? He threatened to put a lien on our property if we did not give it to him. After this episode, Mr. Foundation stopped work for approx. two months and then, in September 2011, Patrick Lecours came with a revised contract. He told us the job would be finished in six weeks. He also disagreed with the advise of 3 engineers. After numerous extras, one of which he cemented our water main pipe which should not have been done, he said not to worry the insurance will pay for it. He did the underpinning but left holes in the foundation. He left the job in November 2011 and told us he will finish after Christmas. After numerous attempts to communicate with Patrick Lecours, he did not reply. Our mortgage holder was told by his office manager, Kim, that the men were watched too much by a “blind person”. The only thing the “blind person” did, was to serve coffee and soft drinks for the workers and also pointed out that they should not have cemented the water main pipe. We are presently in the process of taking legal action in order to get our money back. There is also other cheques that were cashed by Mr. Foundation 23000$ + 18000$ + 8000$. Please communicate with us if you have been cheated by this company.
For the purpose of applying for USA visa, I took a photo in a store which is located in Internet Headquarters Cafe.
After I paid as requested, I took a picture for USA visa. The picture I got through Email looks terrible. As we all know, the first impression matters. I asked for taking the picture again. The boss agreed. Then, when I called to ask when I could get my picture through Email. The response did surprise me. I was told that unless I pay 15$ extra so that they could do some adjustment to the picture, otherwise the picture I took will not get approval of USA visa. I regarded it as threatening.
The purpose of taking picture is to apply USA visa , which I have made it crystal clear before I took picture, in other words, I have paid for the service before I receive the service. Then the store asked for extra charge for no reason or through threatening. It is totally unacceptable cheating.
For example, If we need to go to the another side of river, then we pay before we get on the boat. When we are on the boat and in the middle of the river, we are told that we have to pay extra because the wind is too strong, otherwise we have to be thrown into the river. What do we think?
Besides, I did not find any license posted in the store. I am not sure if they are qualified to provide photo service. Also I doubt if they have any appropriate authorization or license to provide photo service.
Finally, I did not get refund, did not get picture I need. Instead, I have to go to other store to take picture again.
Unreliable, Unprofessional, Unresponsive. After over 3 years, my roof leaks more than when i hired Neill.Sub standard work. I have waited weeks for calls to be returned. I have been stood up 10 times by Neill. No call. No explanation. This guy has an excuse for everything. Nothing is his fault. Have been forced to use other contractor to fix his poor work. I would advise against ever using this company. I have had to go to pay phones and use friends phones to simply get him to pick up the call.I have been hung up on, Ignored, and blamed by this man for bad workmanship that he refuses to take responsibility for. I have spoken with other clients of his and they relate the same stories of poor work and being unable to contact him or get him to show up. Time and time again, he has given excuse after excuse after excuse why he is not responsible for work that he did. A few estimates by other competent roofers proved him wrong.Worst money I have ever spent.
I made the mistake of purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership.
When I got home, the vehicle had water condensing inside of the headlight. I contacted the dealership and was told that that was an issue that was not theirs to deal with as it left the dealership "fine". This type of a problem is something that is not detected until the light has been on and the chance that condensation can form.
My second issue is the complete lack of disclosure of the vehicle accident history. At no point was I told the vehicle was in both a front and back end collision. Oddly enough, when I brought it into another Toyota dealership they were able to determine that the front bumper was new simply by feeling the difference in the paint job between the bumper and the passenger quarter panel! This literally took 5 seconds for the individual to determine the accident nature that this vehicle was in.
Third, the inside of the vehicle was disgusting. When they say a vehicle is "clean" I received a car that had brown fingerprints in the controls where the sunroof are. The trunk had mud stains. When I brought it into another place for cleaning they were surprised as to this being a "dealer prepped" vehicle and found a number of golf items (an exacto knife, a putter head, a device for cleaning shoes) that were left in the vehicle. The key FOB had debris and animal hair when my wife took it apart.
Do not make the mistake I did by purchasing a vehicle here. Upon a discussion to return the vehicle, the dealership had the nerve to tell me to pay for the headlight as part of the "deal". Have a look at my profile photo and you can see the headlight with water forming inside of it.
I will never go back to this place. It is so unprofessional and very badly manages; the customer service is very poor! I bought two online coupons which each indicates: “$89 for 6 Laser Hair Removal Treatments on Up to 3 Body Parts of Your Choice at Laser Esthetique (Up to $2,400 Value)”. After several attempts because nobody was answering the phone, I succeeded to get an appointment. When I got there, I had to wait 45 minutes, it was in the morning around 10 am and they were already late! I asked the lady if she double-books me but she just said that she doesn’t know. While I was waiting for my treatment, the phone was ringing and nobody was answering. They don’t have any receptionist, so the same girl who is in charge of the treatment is also in charge of the phone. Once we started treatment, the girl wanted to charge each body part as per a treatment. I told her that she couldn’t change what is already stated on the voucher. The manager refuses to admit that it was a mistake; she was rude and told me that she sold various kinds of online coupons and she can’t control all of them. I told her that I will complain to the company Dealfind who sold the voucher. I couldn’t believe that she didn’t apologize or tell me that it was a mistake, she didn’t care at all! Personally, I don’t think this company will survive, they are still selling online coupon to trick clients. They receive a lot of calls because of these coupons and they are unable to service them because they are not organize at all! The manager needs to acquire some business/ management skills as well as to learn about customer service without these knowledge I am sure that the company will be out of business in no time.
Fusion House is a crown pleasing choice for a friend group with mixed tastes
Great selection of non-seafood items.
Food was good
Dessert and soda drinks were included with your cost.
Pretty interior
Once they served us with plastic forks, & there were not enough soy sauce dishes
Some items ordered never come but I have not been to a Sushi place that this does not happen in
Mixed opinion about the servers, most have been friendly, another was lazy & kept dropping all of the food in front of two people, in their eating space, at our table of 12, instead of walking down to the other end or using the free space
Greg has been our famiy dentist for many years. He is thorough and professional and I genuinely enjoy my visits to his practice. I find him very time efficient and I can honestly say I have had a lot of pain free work done over the years. He has a great team and I never intend to leave his practice- we are patients for life.
After my dealings with this realtor the only comparison that could come to mind is the stereotypical sleazy used car salesperson. No offense to salespeople - but there are those odd few who fit the bill. This woman does not have her clients best interests in mind - her only motivation seems to be money and she has no problem leaving any semblance of ethics behind in order to do so. She plays dirty, lies and withholds information to her benefit. I normally don't post on these types of sites but I was so disgusted I wanted to let others know to beware of the snake!
BE AWARE….If you know or are involved with Bella from (Sutton Group), Brawna and Allan Levy please be aware they are BIG charity scammers they have pocketed a lot of money and have been criminally charged please help me to help others not help the scammers get richer spread the word thank you.
I like the place. Food is to be expected. Sometimes i find the chicken somewhat chewier than it should be. The food i find is expensive though. I only ever go in the holiday season so i can get the 2-for-1 coupon out of the chocolate box :)
best breakfast ive ever had in a restaurant. easy choices, and theyll bend to whatever you want. I highly recommend going just for the breakfast one day. its awesome.
as for the actual pizza and pasta its not too bad. sortof too saucy for me and the pasta has a somewhat low-quality feel for me. I have only ever ordered pizza from them though. never ate in the restaurant. its definitely better than pizza-pizza though i think.
Really good place. music really quiet. not too loud.
People are nice. not really talkative.
Food is the second so far at being the least expensive for your bowl of pho. (9$ for a typical basketball-sized bowl of pho soup. you can get smaller though. like i do. i've had way more expensive for less soup.
its a really good restaurant. id recommend it to anyone who has never had vietnamese beef soup before. great place to start.
My family has been a patient of Dr. Hiltz for more than 10 Years. My kids love him and we have been very happy with the service swe have recieved. The new office is very professional, and appears to well run. The quality of dentistry is excellent and the care delivery is very comfortable. Dr. Hiltz is not heavy on marketing or pushy sales techniques. He recommends treatment that is necessary, and delivers it in a professional manner. He is also excellent with my children who used to be very nervous in the past.
I would recommend him to anyone.
Pinecrest Store - Bought a sectional Nov 25 with assurance from salesman it would be in the country by Dec 14 and in our LR by Xmas, latest New Year. Called 15th. Only half was there. Other part would be end of Dec. Next day get a call it's being delivered (happy)... get half a couch without the treatment we paid for (not happy). Other half in early Jan they say. Call again the next week... saleman was no where near as friendly as the last time... sorry, late Jan. Xmas and New Year with half a couch... lied to and very unhappy... brutal service... never again...
We bought a town house unit from Sunfield Homes in 2010; once again, closing date has been changed to early 2014. I can't believe it is taking this very reputable company 4 years to build these homes. We have chosen Waterdown to be our next home and hope that Sunfield stop playing games and build these homes in good faith.
I was camp coordinator for over 6 years and have not had a bad service and terrible customer relationships that I have on this site. The owner s Camp racist, and openly declared that we are an ethnic group that does not like our kind. He made us pay for the use of everything in sight in addition to almost $ 10,000 for the cost of renting two cabins for a week. We were charged $ 25 each time we had a campfire? with wood, we found ourselves in the forest. He yelled at us to bring out the wood from the forest for shelter activity. We were charged for the missing items that have never existed. He said he would call the police on us when we made noise with campers (children) at 11:30 pm, despite my complaints about the continuous parts of the cottage he rented with loud music at about 4 morning. He burst into the cabin 4 different times yelling at us without knocking, scaring campers and mothers and upsetting everyone. He screamed and banged on all children's pool jump from the side of the pool? he said we have to use the stairs. He did not report to camp with lifeguards appropriate for the lake. It does not allow us to use canoes, despite being on the lease. He said all right he does not like our kind. Weve rented by the previous owner for 4 years up to 4 times per year for the activities of different camps, I told him that it is potentially losing customers who bring on more than $ 25,000 in revenue for the camp, he did not care, he shrugged his shoulders and turned and forth. It was probably the most racist character I met. I could not believe that an owner of an establishment can be so rude and terrible to his clients. NOT TO MENTION racist if you have any questions about these allegations, please do not hesitate to send me an email [email protected] and I will not be afraid to tell you that you are wasting your time and money as sacrificing the pleasure of your time camp
This school is a rip off. Its an overpriced McDojo. The founder is a fraud ,its known.Their curriculum changes constantly.First it was Kung-Fu,now they its a MMA school. There is no footage of this self appointed Sijo training anywhere.I used to train with them. When I met this Jacques Patenaude, I quit shortly after.H e is a very ignorant man.Stay away...
Great company and quick online submissions IF your are the primary cardholder and understand the nuances of their forms and receipts.
Terrible for your dependents. I have been covered by RWAM for a year now and not a single claim my wife has submitted has been approved for different reasons every single time. Their rejection reasons are numbered and I'm sure we haven't seen them all yet.
Zero help with submissions, not worth the premiums paid for dependents...for singles only!
I had them replace a portion of my roof and they did really well with everything! The communication I had with them was really good and they made sure to accommodate me.
Hi, this company had an ad listed with AutoCatch and it stated 140,000 km as the odometer reading. I gave them a $500.00 deposit only later to find out that the car actually has MILES, not kms, needless to say I didn't want the car. The salesman acknowledged the error and agreed to give me back my money, when I drove there (1 1/2) hours away, the young man behind the desk said he couldn't write me a cheque but could issue me the money by an email transfer and I would have my money within the hour, 2 days later, the boss swearing at me and hanging up and I am still out my $500.00 and I have no car. They are a very shady company and I really don't want this happening to anyone else.

The worst experience I have ever had. The owner Patrick Lecours seems to be nice yet is only in it for the money. There work is second rate at best. Multiple things not completed. Multiple problems with work doneStay away from this man. He claimed the job would take 6-8 weeks. Well over 3 months still not finished and has not been on job site for weeks. Does not answer his phone or call back for days Will be filling a complaint with better business bureau and possible court action. Patrick Lecours is a great salesman but does not do what he says. Basically useless. Find an honest company instead
Terrible service. We have had 5 service visits thus far and the next one later this week for poor installation and some faulty product out of his manufacturing plant in China. Boards were not pushed together completely before glue applied, transition strips were badly done and now redone 3 times, floor was damaged by them when they attempted to repair transition strips. Out of the 6 visits to our house, the service Manager was the only who ever showed up on time. Usually 1-3 hours late and one day they were 6 hours late. They were paid to remove and re-install baseboards and literally threw them on. They were misaligned and damaged. Service Manager flicked one base board off with his finger. I only submitted one picture, email if you would like to see the next 10 or so.
I purchased this mitre saw from Canadian tire, as mentioned in a separate review. This product did not work properly from the minute I purchased it. On my very first cut, it would not complete the last quarter inch without forcing the mitre saw down. When it is forced down, the last section is cut at a off-angle, which is not acceptable for precision cutting. I do not recommend this product.
I rarely shop at Canadian tire because whenever I do, I always end up with problems for one reason or another. My Latest experience will keep me from going to Canadian tire forever unless it's for gas. I recently purchased a Mastercraft mitre saw. I tried it out that night and when I went to cut a piece of wood, it would leave it uncut on the last quarter inch. I brought it back for a complete exchange and to my surprise Canadian tire’s policy is that all power tool items purchased have to be sent back for repair regardless of when it was purchased. I asked her if this policy applies to other power tool products and she told me yes and that other stores have the same policy. The manager plus the first person that spoke with me about the service was very impersonal, non-sympathetic, and did not seem to care about my concern.
The next day I went to my usual store which is Home Depot and asked the service desk if they had a similar policy. The gentleman politely told me that this policy does not apply to their store and that they have a 30 day complete exchange. I told him about the Canadian tire policy and they said it was not a manufacturing policy but definitely a store policy. I'm writing this review so that other people will be aware of this Canadian tire policy about defective products that they sell and that you're stuck with it the minute you walk out of the store.
I had them repair my roofing recently. Everything was done on time which was my number one concern. It was also done very well. I am very satisfied with my experience with Provost Roofing.
Terrible experience. Overcharges and will not discuss print options other than the one style they offer. When we tried to discuss options calmly and without bad language, owner lost his cool, kicked his counter & swore at us. Photographs meanwhile have no energy to them and are stuck in 1980s style.
For many years now, Teresa has been my go-to seamstress and tailor for anything I need made, altered, resized, or mended. She made my gown with matching jacket for my daughter's wedding, did a beautiful job fitting my daughter's bridal gown, and made the bridesmaids' dresses. Whether doing alterations on many of my ballroom dancing outfits or hemming my husband's jeans, the work is always professional and finished on time. I have sent many friends to her and continue to recommend her highly.
I asked "stylist" Rebecca to highlight my hair - light blond - instead what I got was an orange-pink mess, not even remotely close to what I had asked for.
When I mentioned to Rebecca that I was unhappy with the results she tried to blame me for having asked for a different type of cap (the one she initially put on was far too loose in places). Rebecca then put a toner on which accomplished nothing, then she cut my hair when it was completely dry, clipping it in a weird way that I was not familiar with, & when I asked her to wet it down & just do a basic trim I was told to be quiet. At one point things digressed & she said she wasn't going to cut my hair, then when I asked her if she actually expected me to walk out with half a hair cut she hesitated.
In the end I asked to speak to the owner/manager, Leanne, who was very sympathetic & tried her best to fix my hair the next day, unfortunately in the end while there was a slight improvement from orange-pink to reddish/brown, it was a far cry from what I had asked for & what I have been used to for the last 26 yrs. Leanne at this point said this was all she was prepared to do on that day, the reason offered was that she was concerned for my scalp.
And now today I am going to go to a different salon it see if they can improve the unsatisfactory state of my hair, all told what an unpleasant experience this has been & a total waste of my time.
In closing I would never again allow Rebecca to cut so much as a strand of hair off my head
Nina was very responsive and friendly when we first met her on our house search. Very shortly our experience with her became awful. She has been unpredictable, manipulative, and very unprofessional.
Her primary best interest was for her commission: not for the seller's ability to sell the house and not for the buyer to make informed choices. It is unfortunate, but as a buyer, I would never again look at a property represented by Nina.
Not only has my personal experience with her was so discouraging, but apparently her reputation among the real estate community is just as poor.
Very interesting that this business is trying to run and hide by taking down reviews under it's former name. This banquet facility is the most unprofessional hall I have ever encountered! The waiting staff are rude and yelled at me on my wedding day. On top of that completely unacceptable behaviour they threw, into the trash, my wedding favours to my guests.
Their co-ordinator is also unreliable and did absolutely nothing on my wedding day. My Master of Ceremony had to take over and set-up the whole hall.
I suggest looking elsewhere for a wedding venue, as this location will make your day a terrible one!
I got married in August, so the review above is a very recent one. I'm here to answer any questions and give advice for brides who have given The Palace a deposit and are stuck.
Jason helped me to buy my second home last year. He really restored my faith in real estate agents after a few fallings out with other agents in the area. He is honest, respectable, and knows his stuff when it comes to home buying. He even helped me to stage my home before we put it on the market, helping me to maximize my profit margins on the sale. Jason familiarized himself with properties BEFORE he took me there, so that he could give me the best information and guidance possible. He negotiated like a pro and got me the best price on the property possible. He also managed to get me more for my home than I had asked, with multiple potential buyers. I would highly recommend Jason Peterson to help with your home buying/selling needs.
Jason is an excellent real estate agent and was a lot of fun to work with. He helped us buy our first condo and we were so glad that we found him. He will take you to see countless properties and he'll get the price down as low as possible for you. Jason is super smart and can give you details about specific properties off the top of his head. He always has his iphone with him, so he is extremely quick with responses to emails and phone calls. If you are looking for any sort of real estate service in Durham Region contact Jason Peterson at Coldwell Banker.
We found the some of the staff at Fabricland East Regina to be very rude. When my daughter was looking at some material a lady grabbed it and put it away. She continued be condescending to my 12 year old as if I wasn't around. It was terrible customer service. We went in to shop for some new fabric and felt like we were imposing by looking at the fabric. Finally a nice lady named Dennice (not sure how to spell her name) helped us.
Then tonight I called to change my address. A lady named Kathy answered. She said I should just wait until my membership is up in Dec.! Come on! Is this really what they call customer service. She was quite rude as well on the phone. She asked me why my mail wasn't just rerouted by Canada Post. What does that have to do with wanting to change my address? At one point in the call I couldn't believe how rude she was being so I recorded the rest of the call.
Contacting fabricland is also difficult. When you call the number in their flyer it just lets you listen to a recording you can't get in touch with anyone or leave a message. Their website also does not seem to have an email address.
All frustrating. Maybe if they got some feedback they could improve their customer service!
I have been going to see Dr. Weaver since 2003 and would recommend his clinic to anyone. He has worked with my pain from 3 pregnancies as well as been a great part of a team approach to identifying my low back pain. He strives to keep on schedule but is also responsive to his patients concerns.
Sunfield Waterdown Phase II: We bought a single attached in April 2010. First move in was April 2011, then delayed until August 2011 and then December 2011 (these delays were for the water tower issue - Per Sunfield, they had to prove the water station would suffice for the phase rather than having to build a water tower). And then...We were delayed until August 2012 due to bedrock. I had asked the realtor and builders why they wouldn't know there was bedrock, did they not do surveys on the land before purchase. I didn't get a clear response for this question. And now we are delayed until Jan-March 2013 which I was told it was to wait for the gravel companies to re-open in May so they could put in roads. The roads are needed before the permits can be attained from the City. And now...we will be delayed AGAIN until June 2013 - I have yet to receive a letter for this, but apparently one is coming soon. This means it will be over 3 years from when we bought and over 2 years from our initial move-in date. The worst part is that other homes will be started and completed before we get ours. Unimpressed to say the least!
bad customer service, pushy and dishonest sell-man, Don't believe what they are telling you. Shop around, I save $1500 + I have a extra $2500 of option buying from a other dealership. I am happy I did so.
The Tim Hortons located on 1950 Walkey Road (the one that shares the building with the Wendy’s) is currently being renovated, as well as the Wendy’s. Business is still open as usual with the only difference that you have to pull up to a trailer. You are also able to pay with the same methods as before.
I went to the Boston Pizza located on Conroy road yesterday and had a good experience. I ordered pizza (yes I know, big shocker) and the sauce was pretty good and flavourful (not as good as mom’s though). However, I found the drinks to be overprized. I paid $3 for a glass of coke which was full of ice, and the waitress never came back to refill it. Apart from the drinks, I found all other items to be priced fairly. The service was alright, and friendly.
Yangtze is a very nice and elegant restaurant. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. It had a very nice and warm atmosphere. Their dim sum was great, so I really recommend it! The only thing I disliked was the fact that it was very busy so I had to wait a long time for the food.
This New Salon is located in the new plaza in Merival (close to the Walmart). It is a good nice place with a good atmosphere and great staff. They made me very happy with their services.
I had a gift card to this place, but otherwise, I thought the prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend Supercuts to anyone.
I went to Cornerstone Bar and Grill last Thursday where they had their special “Girls night” which consisted of two drinks and two appetizers for only $20! So if you and a friend would share that, it would only be $10 each, pretty sweet!!
The atmosphere was very good and I really like how it stays open late.
My only complaint is that service was slow and our hostess did not bring us to our table, she simply pointed at an empty table and did not even clean the table before we sat down.
