The first time I went to The Works was with my boyfriend. I thought it was pretty cool, the burgers were great and the milk shake in the measuring cup was unique. Then we got the bill and it was over $50! At the time I didn't really mind because it was good food and was pretty filling, but when you think about it, all we got was 2 burgers and a milk shake. This is probably why we don't go there that much..you can get almost the same meal for cheaper anywhere else...but its still fun to go once in a while.
(The only other negative thing is that its a very tiny space so its always crowded and loud.)
I was pretty much scammed at the Goodlife off of Merivale Road, I had won a "free week trial" and I went in to redeem it and walked out with a year membership plus personal trainer. They said the free week was added onto my year membership..which is stupid. And when I tried to cancel they said the only was to to transfer my membership or pay about 100$. So I had to pay since no one else on Kijiji wanted my membership. I did end up going to one spinning session, which I really liked, but that was the only positive part.
Wild Wing is has the best wings anywhere! They are usually super meaty with loads of sauce!! The only think is that there are so many flavours that its tempting to always try a new flavour...but if you try a flavour and you don't like it your kind of up the creek. I generally go for Smokey Thai or Hometown Hottie.
The best place to go in the winter when you have nothing to do and you want to have a good time with friends! The bowling is not very expensive and there is always a lane available! Rock and Bowl Monday and Thursday is awesome....3 games for only $8..this includes the shoe rentals!!
Bronson Pizza is honestly one of my top pizza places! The delivery service is great! The best part is the 2 for 1 Pizza deals & DAYS A WEEK!! This is the best deal and is very economic when feeding lots of people, but you have to mention the 2 for 1 deal when ordering. The quality of pizza is very good too, lots of cheese , the only negative aspect would be that on some of the really meat intensive pizzas, like Canadian, it is a bit too greasy..but still delicious.
