The food was good however if you are planning on a quick date night then Rose Bowl is not for you. We waited 45 minutes for our appetizers and then another 30 minutes for our dinner. It was ok because we were not in any rush however if we would have had a movie afterwards we would have missed it. It took 2 hours for the entire meal and bill.

Don't bother. Walking in the door, I should have known to leave as the place reaks of old sweat and mildew. The place is extremely dated, the furniture is worn down and quite lumpy and totally not comfortable. The place needs a makover very badly. I feel my steak was cooked from frozen and had a "boiled" look and it didn't even taste that great, nothing wow here. The baked potato wasn't scrubbed before and the inside had plenty of black chunks. The sour cream was BAD. It tasted it and smelled it, how could the cook not notice it??? The only great thing in my plate were the vegetables, that is truly it. The onion soup had really soggy breadcrumbs and was noticibly watered down. The salad was cheap iceburg lettuce, one slice of cucumber, a tomato wedge and a few slivers of onion and carrots - boring, tasteless and very cheap. My dessert was soggy and tasteless. Was it worth the $50 I spent? NO!

J'ai mangé à ce restaurant pour ma première fois aujourd'hui avec une cinquante de collègues. La nourriture n'était pas fameuse, le saumon était pas appétissant du tout, ma collègue a choisi du poulet et c'était sans plus. Ensuite nous devions partir et la serveuse a refusé de nous donner nos factures en protestant qu'il fallait attendre que tout le monde aient reçu leurs factures pour pouvoir payer. Je n'ai jamais entendu ca auparavant. Je ne recommande ce restaurant à personne. La qualité de la nourriture ne vaut pas le prix payé ni le service. Aussi, mon voisin de table a trouve un insecte sur la table, il l'a ecrase et ca ma degoute pendant tout le repas.

Oh my God! Best steak ever! Huge, thick, cooked to perfection...medium rare. So good. Going back soon. Chick gabriel (chicket with goat cheese/spinach/mushrooms with wine sauce over rice) was super amazing. Excellent dinner. Great service but servers a tad cool. Appreciated the fact no music or cigarette smoke but the booth seats very uncomfortable...feels like you're sliding forward and ditch the table cloths. Definitely will go back and soon for another steak. Tip that cook! He sure knows how to cook!
