The Green Door is one of only a few vegetarian restaurants around Ottawa, like Westboro's The Table. Pretty much the same food every time we've been, but a good buffet-styled set of choices if you don't go often. Veg lasagna, spanikopitas, soups, varied salads, occasionally sushi, and a large and sometimes tasty dessert choice.Does anyone else know of any others?

Absolutely the BEST vegetarian restaurant in Ottawa. I will drive across the city to eat there, because the food is so good that I crave it!It has a very cozy 'at home' feel, from the mis-matched wooden tables to the 'clear your own dishes' culture. It's like eating at a friend's place. Their kitchen staff has been there for a long time, so the recipes are perfected and always consistent and delicious. I love the Green Door!

Great vegetarian restaurant. The selection is incredible and the food is very good. I recommend the spanakopita and the salads. It is priced by weight. Depending on what you choose, the price can be high or low. I have never spent more than $12 for dinner and dessert. The vegan chocolate cake is a must-try.

Delicious and healthy yet cheap food! Best vegetarian meal I've ever had. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa. The decor and atmosphere are modest but I don't care about that.
