The service is always fast, the goodies are great. I find that the layout is ok for what they had to work with, but not enough plugs for computers. The cookies are very very expensive - $2 plus for cookies or a small slice of cake breads(banana date, zucchini and others). I wish they would add a fresh salad bar - a place i went to often in Montreal had this and it was very popular. Roast N Brew on Bank Street a little further up at Fifth Avenue recently opened and has more plugs, good sandwiches(could use more in them), and some nice salads. The owner is onsite many times too!

MOVED 2 BANK STREET @ Second Ave. nearly 2yrs ago!i preferred the original location - had a better layout, more plugs for our computers to do homework from! this one is more like a tall hallway - makes it impossible to not be bothered

The thing is... this is a coffeehouse, not a library or an office. I bet the original one on 3rd ave was suffering financially due to people hoarding internet and electrical outlets. The one in the glebe now is busy, much cleaner, and better coffee equipment = better coffee.
