We have been members of Saroughi International Taekwon-Do for just over a year as a family, and we can honestly say it was one of the best things we have ever done. Besides the obvious health and fitness benefits, the family atmosphere and fun teaching methods employed by the Saroughis have made Taekwon-Do something we look forward to doing every week. Our son asks to go every night! He joined at a mere 4 years of age, and the Saroughis have made a true "ninja" of him!"Patrick and Jennifer, C

Truly amazing! I have not had one class or experience I did not enjoy. The discipline they teach, you carry through in everyday life. I know that, if it wasn't for Saroughi International Taekwon-Do, I would not be where I am today. Adam L. 3rd Degree Black Belt

"When I first decided to learn martial arts, I wanted to find somebody who taught seriously. I have observed in some other places where instructors seem to be happy with "close enough" or "pretty good" but Master Saroughi really takes the time to make sure that you are doing everything correctly. This applies not only to technique, but also to fitness, discipline, and most importantly, the spirit of Taekwon-Do. It is a great source of inspiration to train beside fellow students, young and old alike, who are also inspired and committed to better themselves and others through martial arts. Despite his emphasis on technique and discipline, Master Saroughi's classes are always fun and full of great humor. You are always working hard but you are also having a great time. Despite having many students, he knows each person by name, and you can tell he takes his responsibility as a teacher and mentor seriously. I really appreciate the indivdual attention he gives to each student and the emphasis on safety and perseverance. Master Saroughi seems to have the unique gift of knowing exactly when you need encouragment and when you need to be pushed. I started with very poor fitness and Master Saroughi guided me all the way through every step of improvement. In fact all the instructors are just so supportive in this way. There is always something new in each class, and you never fall into a boring routine. I am a person who can easily get bored, and I wasn't sure how long I could keep up the commitment to go, but I have to say, after many months, I still find myself as excited as ever when "Taekwon-Do" day comes around! If you ever get a chance to attend one of the kids or family classes, then you will really see Master Saroughi in his element. He is great at teaching kids, and you can really tell his kids love him. It's a delight to see entire families training together and having fun doing it. Joining Saroughi Taekwan-Do has given me more energy, more focus, and more confidence. How many other decisions in your life can give you that?"

Master SamI simply wanted to take a minute and thank you, Alton and George for being very good at what you do! I came to you club in July 2010, out of shape and overweight and over the last 4 months through hard work and your encouragement I have seen major results. It is unfortunate that I will be leaving your club but not for reasons of displeasure but due to a move across the country. What I liked the most about your club is the sense of family and belonging. Everyone is respectful of each other and encourage each other to give 100 % each and every time. Your ability in getting the maximum effort from each of your students is to be admired. I have never been to you Orleans club however if it is anything like the one on Bank street it must be as you say “AMAZING” I wish you and your brothers nothing but success and encourage anyone who has not tried one of the Saroughi Martial Arts & Kickboxing class to give it a try. You will not be disappointed!! Luc Quenneville

I am a regular customer at saroughi kickboxing and it is by far the best workout I have ever had. The instructors are very friendly and push you to do your best every class. Saroughis gym has amazing customer service and are very family oriented. No matter what age or ethnicity, Saroughi help make everyone feel comfortable and equal. As soon as you walk into Saroughis gym one of the instructors (if not all) greet you promptly and the atmosphere is just incredible. Everybody knows each other here and they are very friendly and accepting. At Saroughi, we truly are a family.

From the very first time I walked into Saroughi Taekwon-Do, I felt welcome and completely at ease. Master Sam is warm, compassionate and knows everyone by name, even after they've attended only one class. I went for one trial class and signed up immediately - the studio is clean, the instructors are amazing, and most importantly, the classes are challenging and fun. Everyone is encouraged to work themselves harder, but there is never any undue pressure. I attend the kick boxing/boot camp classes, where there is a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and always a fun new routine. I tend to get bored easily, especially in regards to workout classes, but this is one class that I actually spend my day looking forward to. Saroughi studios offer strength, confidence and self-respect; and for that, it's worth every penny. Danielle Gauthier :)

"My daughter, husband and I all joined Saroughi Martial Arts in 2010. I can say without question, that it was one of the best decisions we could have made. We were expecting some exercise and maybe to learn a little bit of martial arts. What we were not expecting was the level of professionalism and incredible personal training we would receive. We have grown stronger both physically and mentally, thanks to the Saroughi program at Saroughi Martial Arts. The difference in my daughter's confidence is immeasurable. She is no longer a shy and introverted young girl, but instead has blossomed into a confident and strong young lady. I can honestly say that I owe that change to Master Sam Saroughi and his brothers Masters Alton & George. Each brother brings a unique and exceptional quality to the gym. What they each have in common, however, is an uncanny ability to read the students' needs and abilities. They possess the ability to know when to push the student, when to joke, when to be serious, to correct, to teach discipline and respect, and yet to never harm a child's confidence in the process. It is not a "one size fits all" type of program. The attention that each student receives is remarkable and uncommon in today's world. The respect and dedication they show each child is returned by everyone in class. They teach the children, as well as the parents, to strive to be better people, not just in class, but outside as well. The lessons they teach these children are invaluable and sorely lacking in today's society. I only wish I had had such a place to go to when I was a child! To say we are lucky to have stumbled across this gym now, is an understatement. As a family, we have grown, and are proud to be members and hope to continue to grow and learn as the years go on. Thank you to the Saroughi family from our family! Sincerely, Caroline, Robert & Katie Dale"
