Casino Du Lac Leamy is simply amazing!Specially when you drive in at night and see the water shooting up in different colours. The view is even better in the winter, with all of the lights and the HUGE christmas tree that is inside. I enjoy coming to this casino. There is a HUGE selection of different machines and tables. What I liked the most about this place was the fact that the moment you step in, there are "lessons" on gambling and its side effects. They pretty much discourage you about gambling by telling you that the house always wins. I think that this is great on their part. Anywho, their buffet is really good. They also have bands that come in and play music for people to dance. Even if you do not like gambling, chances are, you will have fun doing one thing or another at this casino, so at least check it out!

The last three times I was at this casino, they did not have any paper towel to dry your hand. I thought that was strange after the second time but the third time. The place was not even busy. In theory, there is only so much money they can draw out of the local economy. Now I guess they are just cutting back to compensate the lost in revenue.

The Baccara restaurant has to be the best restaurant in this region. I am not a big frequent visitor of 5 star restaurants but this must be a place I would expect to be near the top.

I was at the casino last week and left my car at the valet. When we left that night, I assume they left my headlights on automatic and did not turn my lights off when I got home. Well that was a mistake as I try to start my can the next evening. The valet attendant must have change it to manual which meant my lights were left on for the whole next day. Unfortunately, when I found out, my friend had left for her place and she had to drive half hour back to help me boost it. The whole evening was shot and I reported this instance to them. I hope they put a message to their drivers to leave the cars light system alone.

The Hull casino has the worst atmosphere in any casino I been. In the past, I have seen normal well manner people turn ugly over the years of casino gambling. They have lost their spouse, home and business and can't seem to understand their predicament. Lately I am seeing more of that as gamblers turn on each other over the smallest issues. Unlike casinos in Vegas, the gamblers are all local and losing their life savings. In Vegas, the casino are filled with mostly tourist that are there to have fun, not to try to win back the money they lost the night before.

One thing I do like about this casino is their restaurants. They removed the "a la cart" at the Banco and the food has been much better. The weekend buffet is the best with their King Crab legs and their variety of deserts. I also enjoy their 5 star Le Baccara which out class any of the other 5 star restaurants in Ottawa and Gatineau.

I was there last night with a group of 25 people. We ate and drank from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and followed up at the bar on the casino floor. We had a great time dancing and drinking and took a few group pictures. At this point everything turn for the worst. A female security stop us dancing on the dance floor and insist on seeing the pictures that one of my friends took. An argument took place and she left. 10 minutes later, the head of security came and singled my friend and and took him aside. What ever ensue did not seem pleasant. It really put a damper on our night. I give their service a big thumbs down and highly recommend they send their staff on a public relations course.
