I worked at Zellers for almost a year and working there actually really sucks.
They don't care about you too much. You don't really do much training. They just pretty much throw you on the floor and expect you to know what you're doing. The managers there can be rude at times.
It's very disorganized there as well. For instance, if an item had to tag which means no price, there isn't any other way we could look up the item. Apparently, we would just have to find the "closest" thing to it and that would be it. No wonder HBC isn't making any money!
As a former employee and a consumer, most of the time, whenever I would buy something, the price advertised would not be in the system so there's the waiting which can get pretty frustrating because it would take a very long time.
This store has a good selection and good value, athough I found that the changing rooms and the bathrooms were not very clean. I would recommend this store for housewares and drugstore needs but not for make-up or clothing
