This is from the perspective of an employee. People often think of the lcbo as an over-paid job - and we are paid well. But in return you will be a casual employee for up to a decade with an unreliable flow of income (no guaranteed hours - one week you could work 30 hrs and then have absolutely no hours the next week), no paid days off, and you can expect to be treated as a pawn - even regarding personal circumstances. Many fellow casual employees work 6-7 days a week (if the hours are available) in order to maintain a livable income. This is a perspective from ottawa; I cannot speak for other parts of the province. However I'm willing to bet it's not much different anywhere else.
