Not sure what the buzz is about. Teachers are stuck up (poor communicators). They failed to recognize giftedness qualities in my children and always expect a child to think and act like other children in the class. When I moved my child to a different school, he flourished and was much happier! So if you want to pay much and get less (because you are blinded by high expectations), by all means pick this school. I am happy to have made the switch, which turned out to be the best for my child.
I am definitely not in exnellect sport condition! And I am not a serious biker at all, all I had done prior to this was one-hour rides in town. This was my first biking tour, and 50-60K a day was pretty reasonable. We took it slow and rested a lot. As for kids, I guess it depends on the kids. I know people that have done things like that with kids around 10, but they have been training the kids for it. I would not recommend the return to Ottawa through Prince of Wales, though, as the cars zooming by would not be fun. If I was doing this with kids I would keep the distances short and end the tour before getting into Ottawa.It was definitely a lot of fun!
I will never go back to this place. It is so unprofessional and very badly manages; the customer service is very poor! I bought two online coupons which each indicates: â$89 for 6 Laser Hair Removal Treatments on Up to 3 Body Parts of Your Choice at Laser Esthetique (Up to $2,400 Value)â. After several attempts because nobody was answering the phone, I succeeded to get an appointment. When I got there, I had to wait 45 minutes, it was in the morning around 10 am and they were already late! I asked the lady if she double-books me but she just said that she doesnât know. While I was waiting for my treatment, the phone was ringing and nobody was answering. They donât have any receptionist, so the same girl who is in charge of the treatment is also in charge of the phone. Once we started treatment, the girl wanted to charge each body part as per a treatment. I told her that she couldnât change what is already stated on the voucher. The manager refuses to admit that it was a mistake; she was rude and told me that she sold various kinds of online coupons and she canât control all of them. I told her that I will complain to the company Dealfind who sold the voucher. I couldnât believe that she didnât apologize or tell me that it was a mistake, she didnât care at all! Personally, I donât think this company will survive, they are still selling online coupon to trick clients. They receive a lot of calls because of these coupons and they are unable to service them because they are not organize at all! The manager needs to acquire some business/ management skills as well as to learn about customer service without these knowledge I am sure that the company will be out of business in no time.
Pho Kim is one of the best vietnemese restaurant in this region. This pho restaurant is very reasonably priced, huge portions and the service was excellent. Very polite servers.
The new shoppers drug Mart in Manotick opened two weeks ago and now we have three pharmacies.
Just like the other shoppers Drug Marts, this location is very spacious and it also includes specialized services such as passport photos and consultation with the pharmacist (in a separate consultation room). The pharmacist and staff were very helpful and took their time to explain some of the questions I had.

I bought 2 vouchers of 89$ each. It said on the voucher that it was for 6 treatments in 3 body parts of your choice... when i went to use them the lady at the laser esthetique said that's it's 6 treatments as a total for all the body parts and not for each of them so basically if you choose 3 body parts to treat you only get 2 sessions for each. I was really surprised abt this. I find it really misleading. also the appointements are hard to get.
STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT GET CONSISTENT APPOINTMENTS. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE

Excellent food! Burgers come with free sauteed mushrooms & fried onions...best I've had. Poutine is also loaded with curds, layered in the middle too. Yum!
There are so few places in Manotick to eat out that we are willing to try any restaurants in this little town. We have driven down the main street a few times now and have never notice this restaurant. To our surprise, the food, ambien, prices, and service were quite good. I was told this restaurant was only open since June 2010 by our waitress Laura. They have done a nice job and I hope to check their terrace out in the summer.
Decent place to have a fast burger and quick on the run. The waitress there are very nice but needed some training. Seems to kind on wonder around not knowing exactly what to do. One other thing that was very annoying was the drunken customers at the bar side. There was a woman customer that must have been drunken out of her mind and was so loud that we left the restaurant the moment we finish our food.
Pizza Time is a new restaurant located in Manotick. I really enjoyed the service at this place. The pizza was good, the service was very friendly and quick! I will be returning and most definitely recommending this place to everyone I know!
I've been to this restaurant and I can say that I did not have a nice experience. All I remember was that the atmosphere was not worth the price of the meal. Last week's visit was not any better. The restaurant had changed ownership and I thought we would give it a try. Well, this is what I think:
-The menu was priced at fine dining price but the food was lacking in taste and presentation.
-The service was slow and we actually sat and waited 20 minutes after our table was cleared to be asked about desert.
-There was only 3 other tables occupied.
-There was no ambient music in the restaurant which seems odd.
-The kitchen was an open concept which took about 20% of the room. The kitchen looked out of place and was not well designed.
It's too bad, this restaurant could have more potential.
yuck. Hamburger was disgusting and so was a super salad I ordered. Never order there again, sloppy, gross. Hard bits in hamburger :(
Best pizza in Manotick and you don't have to wait forever. Really helpful people. Their chicken wings were cooked just right.
This is one of my favorite restaurants but my last visit was very disappointing. The food was fine but there were flies everywhere. We moved from the Terrance to the inside and it was not much better. We had to constantly fight off the flies from our food. Needless to say, I was worry about the flies in the kitchen and what they were doing to our food. I am requesting this site to contact the restaurant for their explanation.
Busy restaurant but poor service. I received my food cold and the portions were small. The food took a long time to arrive which made it more surprising to have the food cold.
Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The smelts they serve is the best I had. I never see it on other restaurant's menu.
